What is Therapy?
Therapy is a service provided by a licensed psychologist or licensed therapist that helps people learn to live a happier and fulfilling life. The approaches used in therapy are based on techniques that have helped others. Therapy is an active and collaborative process that occurs in a supportive, objective, and non-judgmental environment.

Therapy can help reduce psychological distress which helps people to feel happier and more fulfilled. Therapy is a gradual process. The changes that occur as a result of therapy take time, patience, and a willingness to try something different.

What is Telepsychology?
We are offering therapy via telepsychology. Telepsychology relies on technology, like phones and video conferencing, to provide therapy virtually. There are benefits and limitations to telepsychology when compared to in-person therapy. These benefits and limitations will be discussed in depth at your first appointment.

Are my Sessions Confidential?
Your mental health records contains personal information about you and your health. This information is referred to as Protected Health Information (PHI) and your information is protected and used in accordance with applicable law and ethical codes.

Your Personal Health Information and sessions are confidential unless you request that your information be shared with another person and/or entity. There are some exceptions to confidentiality including an emergent situation, if there is suspicion of child abuse, or if there is suspicion of adult abuse or domestic violence. A complete list of exceptions to confidentiality will be provided to you at your first appointment and reviewed as needed during the course of treatment.

How Much Does Therapy Cost? Are There any Other Fees?

$200.00 per 50 minutes of therapy. We offer a sliding fee scale for therapy services.

Cancellation/Missed Appointment Fee: Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you therefore a charge of $35 will be assessed for missed appointments or cancellations less than 24 hours in advance

Do you Accept Insurance?
We are accepting new clients who are self-paying. We are also accepting new clients who have Blue Cross Blue Shield-AZ, AHCCCS, or Medicare insurance.
